Another fantastic stay

We adore the New Forest, We adore our dogs and Grafton is the most comfortable, cosy, clean cottage we have probably ever stayed, all our needs are catered for and the property is ideally situated to visit all of the most popular Nre Forest attractions. We have been many times now and it’s like returning home. We never want to stay anywhere else in the New Forest. Thank you
A lovely stay”
Our week in Grafton Gardens was excellent. The owner Tina could not have been more welcoming. The house was equipped for every need and there were plenty of nice touches, especially a bottle of wine in the fridge which went down very well. The house was ideal for our party of four. It was spacious, immaculately clean and comfortable - a real home from home with great access to all the notable facilities the New Forest offers. A ticket for most of the area's car parks was a godsend. Tina also joined in the hunt for a lost teddy following our departure. It was that sort of touch that cost nothing but meant a great deal. We had a lovely holiday and the house and facilities played a huge part in such a memorable stay.

 Location, location, location -

this lovely clean, tidy and spacious house (3 bedrooms) is situated in the middle of everything wonderful about this area of the UK. To the south within 40 minutes are the lovely sands of Bournemouth and Poole. 5 minutes down the road is lovely small village of Milford on Sea, great for coastal walks and just chilling out, recommend the small tea rooms. 5 mins drive to the north you are in the New Forest, great for walking or cycling. 15 mins to the east is the lovely setting of Beaulieu, the Motor museum is extremely interesting day out with the lovely grounds and house. However the gem is Lymington itself, great for just strolling around in the lovely little shops and team rooms. However our favourites were the local pubs, friend atmosphere and some of the best local ingredients from the area, fish and meat. My wife and I loved it and our dogs were more the than welcome by the owners. We can't wait for our next visit and maybe the children will get to experience this area as well. Tina the owner was very helpful into our first experience of self-catering and I thank her for her time.

Comfortable dog-friendly clean cottage in quiet neighborhood

The cottage is perfectly equipped and ideal for a family holiday with your dog. We had a warm welcome with biscuits, coffee, milk and even wine in the fridge and felt comfortable at once. Although a lot of pets have eben there with their owners everything was very clean and tidy. Beach and forest can be reached within 5 minutes. The beach nearby is dog-friendly and so are a lot of pubs. We could not have found a netter place. Contact to the owner was always very friendly
The house is in a lovely quiet street and the house has everything you need and want the garden is nice and sunny and you can sit outside and get you tan ..... very nice fish and chip shop and chinese take away on the main road about 5 min walk from house

Lovely comfortable house, very well located

We stayed at this lovely house over Christmas and the owners made it very special for us with a beautiful tree, wine and chocolates and even a gift for our two dogs, beautifully wrapped. The house is spacious and so welcoming and comfortable. It's extremely well equipped and Tina even made sure we had an extra large roasting tin for our Xmas goose! The pretty walled garden was ideal too as it was also safe and secure for the dogs. We had a fabulous lunch at a nearby pub, The Monkey House, on Xmas Eve which is also very dog friendly, and visited Lymington. We'd love to visit again as there is so much to explore in this lovely area. Highly, highly recommended!

Excellent property

The property was perfect and in a good location for our stay. Owners were very helpful and lots to do in area. Would use again

An excellent house which is well situated for coast and ponies!

The excellent quality of information, both in the house and pre visit, means that you settle in quickly. This means it frees you up to enjoy the holiday. The best organised house we have stayed in. Within easy reach of the coast and close to the beautiful New Forest. We saw deer and ponies returning to a comfortable accommodation at the end of the day. Excellent pub restaurants nearby. We strongly recommend.

Very comfortable home and everything you need while away

Spacious, cosy, spotlessly clean 3 bed-roomed house. Bedding, towels, tea/coffee, milk, washing up liquid etc all provided, making it a very easy place to stay for a mini-break. Close to take-aways and a pub. About 20 minutes walk to the town centre but free parking permit is available for use. Lovely part of the country with coastal and forest walks nearby. Small enclosed garden, so good for dogs, but house did not look or smell as if pets had been there.

Comfortable, homely stay - centrally based to explore the New Forest

We stayed at this property for six nights with our dogs. Having our own bedrooms, wifi, a great selection of DVDs and all the mod cons we could possibly want made for a very comfortable stay at the end of the day when returning from our explorations. Would definitely recommend!

Good holiday stay

A well-appointed 3 bedroom property with nearby on-road parking. Well equipped, warm & comfortable and spotlessly clean on arrival. There was a good supply of board games and DVDs plus wifi. There was a lovely welcome pack of groceries on arrival and it was nice to have a phone call from the owner to check we were ok. The property is very well positioned for the coastal area around Lymington and the New Forest, also close to the ferry for the Isle of Wight. All in all, a very good holiday stay and we would happily go back.

A well equipped and comfortable House

We are very excited about our stay in this lovely and well equipped comfortable house in this nice area of Lymington. We very much enjoy travelling the countryside and the Isle of Wight and the city of Lymington is a very nice spot too. A Waitrose is just around the corner - do I have to say more? It's best to have a car with you.

Spacious, well located property with lots of extra touches

This property is very spacious with generously sized rooms and a lovely courtyard garden which provides areas of both sun and shade at all times of the day. The house was spotlessly clean and well equipped, and the owner has put a lot of thought and consideration into making your stay as comfortable as possible. There were lots of welcome extras provided such as tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits and even a bottle of chilled white wine! Also provided are things like cling film, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, detergent and fabric softner, liquid soap, toilet rolls, bed linen, towels and tea towels. In addition, there is a dog water bowl and even towels for the dog! There is also a wide selection of books and DVDs, and a parking pass for many of the local car parks. The property is well located in a quiet residential area so we had very peaceful nights. It is close to the town of Lymington, the coast and the beautiful New Forest, and all the wonderful tourist attractions in the area are within easy reach. We had a very comfortable, relaxing holiday and enjoyed this property very much. Highly recommended!

Lovely house and great location

We had a great time at Grafton Holiday Home - the owners really have thought of everything! Tina also had some very helpful recommendations and checked in with us during our stay. The house itself is warm, spacious and very clean. Lymington is perfectly situated both in relation to the coast and the New Forest, we were even able to visit Corfe Castle and the Dorset coast. Car parking is on the street but we never had a problem finding a space. All in all we would highly recommend Grafton Holiday Home and hope to be back in the future! Thank you for a splendid break.

Fantastic stay ...great property.

We spent two weeks here with our two dogs. The garden is totally safe and secure ...very important for us. The property was well situated for travel both into the forest area and the coast. We were not travelling for hours to get to places! The property was spacious and had everything you could want. Wine and other extras left for our arrival ...a lovely touch. Owners were very helpful and can not fault the attention, cleanliness and comfort. Even the weather was kind to us!

Very Suitable, Practical & Comfortable For Our Needs

Left on Nov 5, 2015 for a stay in Oct 2015
We found Grafton very suitable, practical and comfortable for our holiday needs. It is located on a quiet private small housing estate, the parking is free on street and we had no problem parking near-by. It is ideal for families with its large rooms, master bedroom vanity basin, with toilets both up & down stairs. The property is kept well maintained and clean by its owners, who are only a phone call away should you need their assistance. As for shops, there is a parade of shops just 5 minutes walk away on the main road (A337) of mainly takeaways (we can recommend the fish & chips) and a McColl's newsagent, walking 15 minutes you can reach the Tesco Express. For larger shopping there is a Waitrose (0.8 mile), Tesco Superstore (3.93 miles) & Lidl (4.5 miles). A loan car park pass for 3 hours free parking in most (but not all) New Forest Council car parks is also provided free of charge. We originally booked this property as they accepted dogs, sadly we no longer had a dog by the time we arrived for our holiday, but never the less we would still be happy to re-book this this property again. The free WiFi worked fine.

“Immaculately presented, homely, ideally located holiday home perfect for families.”
5 of 5 starsThe owners of this property have thought of everything; from the milk, tea, coffee and biscuits there on arrival, to the towels for the dog after muddy walks. The booking through the owners website was efficient and any queries before and during the stay responded to quickly. The house is spacious and lends itself well to a family. Although there is only one bathroom, there is a vanity unit in the master bedroom, a cloakroom downstairs and the bathroom has a separate bath and shower. The kitchen is well equipped and spotlessly clean, like everywhere else. The lounge and dining area is comfortable. Although the weather wasn't warm enough to sit in the courtyard garden, this would be a suntrap in the summer. The owners provide lots of guidance about the local area. There are dog walks on the doorstep, a playground and leisure centre within walking distance and it is only a short drive or 15 minute walk to Lymington town centre.

Just a quick note to say we had a wonderful stay at your holiday home. Lovely setting, very clean and very quiet.

Yes, we had a great time at Grafton and have
enjoyed the house very much. We really felt at home, nothing like an
ordinary rental. Thank you for your attention and all the little things that
draw the line between sheer business and a homely atmosphere.

A lovely base to explore the New Forest and surrounding areas. A great deal of thought has gone into making sure everything you need is provided. We travel up and down the country regularly and I can honestly say I have never stayed in anywhere so well equipped and spotlessly clean. Will definitely stay again.

We stayed at Grafton in early Feb. Despite awful weather, we had a brilliant weekend. The house is well located and Is in a quiet residential spot and easy to find. It is absolutely spotless with all the amenities you would expect such as wifi, large kitchen and bathroom and very comfortable bed. Even though there was only the two of us, it would be an ideal rental for a family holiday. Lots to do and see...try the noisy lobster at Avon Beach! Great crab sandwich!!

We had a great stay at grafton it was a comfy clean and spacious home, everything we needed in the kitchen to cook if we wanted to as well. Love the retro tiles specially the clouds in the downstairs loo reminds me of living with my parents, happy memories. The garden is really secure for dogs and is a sun trap, lovely to sit out for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We had fabulous weather and the white hart pub up the road had a good doggie garden and very handy after a long day out. Lots of places to visit, plenty of good doggie walks and most pubs and cafes are dog friendly. To be honest it's such a lovely area we ran out of time and struggled to fit everything in so we will just have to visit again next year! We will be staying at grafton again I would highly recommend it.

"A really pleasant holiday home, ideally situated for lots of beach"

We and our children enjoyed every day of our three week vacation at Grafton. The house is located in a nice and quiet neighbourhood and you can reach the charming towncenter of Lymington within a vew minutes drive.
Within short drives you get to lots of wonderful places at the New Forest as well as different beaches or beautiful gardens. A boat trip from Lymington harbour to the Isle of Wight is worth doing several times. Within 45 minutes you also get to Poole and Bornemouth by car with great beaches and shopping facilities.
The house itself is spacious enough for a longer family stay and the rooms are light and cheerful. It's also nice to have a little garden and terrace of your own. Everything is well organized and clean. Car parking nearby the house is available. Anyway this was one of our most pleasant holiday homes and we will surely come back.

Thank you, Tina,
The house was great, very clean and spacious as well as well equipped. The instructions were clear and precise. We were in walking distance of the town too.

Jo G.,

Really enjoyed our stay Oct 2022 at your super clean spacious accommodation, lovely area and the Grafton was a perfect place to explore the New Forest, we will definitely return and will recommend to family and friends. Thank you.

Bernice Baker,

Back from a lovely 3 night stay at Grafton. Very clean and comfortable, very dog friendly, he was straight in the toys after his long car trip. We had everything we needed and really appreciated the wine and biscuits, a lovely treat. The White Hart a 10 minute walk was very dog friendly and the food was good would highly recommend.

Linda Walliss,

A very well proportioned and positioned house in Pennington, so convenient for the New Forest and the seaside. It was spotlessly clean and there was so much attention to detail. Everything we needed was provided. Tina and Mike ensured that we enjoyed our week's holiday after being cooped up at home for so long due to the Covid restrictions! Would highly recommend Grafton for cleanliness and convenience.
